Bible stories told in an amazing fiction format that is reflective of the author’s real life experiences. Throughout scripture, God's love for women and everyone—no matter ethnic background or gender—may be found, from Genesis to Revelation. May you come to know His love in an authentic, tangible way.
Build me an ark … Strange request in a world where rain never existed. But Noah was a man of honor who had to believe the impossible. In the twilight of his life, he would discover his purpose. Now all he had to do was convince his wife and family to act before the flood waters started to rise.
Give up one year of your life … Standing on the edge of adulthood, J. L. Woodson had a choice. A hard, fast ‘no’ meant staying in the comfort zone. Saying ‘yes’ would take him on a journey beyond all of his hopes and dreams.
Two men from different moments in time heeded a call and turned their pain into their purpose.
"Betray your marital bed and maybe we’ll let you go." Agreeing would mean certain death for Susanna. Refusing would only make matters worse. In an age when women were stoned to death for such things, would the truth even matter? Susanna took a stand for what was right. Will it be enough when it’s her word against the pillars of her community,
"Betrayal is a bitter pill chased with forgiveness." The snow was falling, and Stephanie M. Freeman was dying. A brutal attack left her with a lifetime of heartbreak and scars. Trusting others with the unspeakable made her trauma worse. Februarys are hard for her, but a promise kept, and an unlikely group of strangers reminded her of a simple, yet profound truth.
Two women on opposite ends of an ocean of time are travelers on the same path. Is the truth enough to carry them home?
What do you do when you think God isn’t watching? Enslaved in Egypt, Miriam depended on God for deliverance and was freed from Pharaoh’s evil reign. Then her faith was tested. Instead of trusting in God, she led the Hebrews in an uprising against her brother, Moses, which was also a direct rebellion against the very God who broke her chains. Although she was one of the first female prophets in the Bible, betrayal in the wilderness is understandable when you’ve been lost for forty years.
What if God gave up on us when we made a mistake? No one is immune to making missteps when life provides so many distractions. God has a plan and purpose for your life and wants you to learn from challenges and obstacles so you will trust His process and gain the victory.
Two women discover that with God's grace, soul-wrenching heartbreak can lead to a remarkable journey of self-discovery.
Naomi, and her daughter-in-law, Ruth, find the present filled with personal tragedy and the future too painful to bear. For these widows, remaining in Moab without their husbands or next-of-kin would be fraught with peril. Together, they place their trust in the Lord and begin a journey back to Naomi's homeland that alters the course of their lives and secures Ruth's place in history.

Shattered, weeping, unnamed--- an outcast who gave so unselfishly that nearly two thousand years later, we are still sharing her story, but do we fully know the price of her sacrifice?
Her story beautifully overlaps with the author’s personal testimony, poured out upon the pages to reignite a sense of wonder and praise. Reminding us that there is beauty in brokenness, God’s light will always shine through even the most minor cracks.
Both women reached their breaking points, and rather than run; they placed their pain at the feet of Christ. God rewarded their worship with these words, “Daughter, your sins are forgiven. Go and sin no more.”
Who goes through life without bruises and knockdowns? No one. But do you know who comes out on the other side with healing and strength? Those who make up in their minds that they want a different way of experiencing life. The good news is that there's no reason why you can't be that person. The Bible says that the steps of a good man or woman are ordered by the Lord. Yet sometimes those steps take us down a road of pain, disappointment, misfortune, and trials that we would not have chosen for ourselves. It's at these times that we can experience tremendous growth and breakthrough in our circumstances and in our faith by allowing God to work all things (even unpleasant things) together for our good.
She made one mistake. Leaving him under the cover of darkness to escape the consequences of her actions would spiral into something so horrific that it cost the innocent lives of many. What she had done was enough to put her in an early grave, but what her husband did was downright diabolical. Time after time, the women and children paid the price, when men made decisions without consulting God first.
The Forgotten. The women in this story resonate with Naleighna Kai because she also suffered the pangs of her mistakes. Going from one place to another to find safety, landed her in the grip of someone who did not see her value; someone who tried to end the game before she realized it was being played.
You stood in the gap. Interceded on behalf of someone or something. However, what you prayed was what you thought was needed. Perhaps, it took a moment, but you later learned, sadly, with all your good intentions and spiritual insights, you might have stood in God’s way.
God’s purpose for our lives will be impacted by our choices when we think we know more than Him. We don’t, and it’s foolish to believe that we do—If we come to a crossroad where a choice must be made, it is wise to create “that choice” at the foot of the Cross.
When it seemed like life was doing all it could to keep me from having the desires of my heart, I was convinced motherhood was a dream that wasn't meant to be. At least not for me. Obviously, God knew the plans He had for me, but couldn't He let me in on them in the meantime? Patience is a journey that's granted from God ... and it was going to take almost a decade and a whole lot of faith and perseverance on my incredible path to becoming a mother.
Have you dealt with the tremendous loss of a loved one?
Has the trust and kindness you’ve shown been taken for granted?
Did your life take an alternate path from where you originally planned?
Life’s journey can deal us a number of challenging moments both mentally and physically. Prayer is a powerful tool that can be used to provide the strength and wisdom needed to deal with as well as overcome these moments. Knowing there is a higher power at work on our behalf that we’re able to tap into it can bring a sense of comfort and peace.
Tamar and Amnon. He saw. He came. He conquered. And he didn’t care that she would bear the brunt of his bad choices. As a King’s son, nothing would be denied him, even though this particular experience should. Passion for him, became pain for an innocent woman. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the worst of sins in this scandal. The man who was supposed to love and protect her did nothing, forcing her brother to take deadly action that plunged the kingdom into chaos.
